Spreading the word beyond Ireland

On 15 May 2023, Emmanuelle was invited by Pistes Solidaires/Europe Direct Pau to present the work done in Ireland on education to active European citizenship. The event entitled ‘Educating for Europe at school’ saw the presentation of a key report on the issue by Professor Thierry Chopin from the College of Europe, Brugges. It was attended by over 150 primary and post-primary teachers, mostly from France.
