Exchanging with President Metsola     

This year, Europe Week is taking place from 9 May to 13 May 2022. On 11 May, over 11,000 children were registered to excahnge with Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament. The President answered a series of questions posed by the children such as:

  1. How is war in Ukraine affecting your job? from Gavin Higgins, 11, St. Colman’s B.N.S. – Teacher Margaret McLoughlin
  2. What is your aim for the E.U for the next 10 years? Jack McNally – 3rd Class – Kilmurry N.S – Teacher Emer Murphy
  3. What advice would you give us as 10-12 year olds about living our best lives as European citizens in our future lives? By Aaron Boukioud, 4th class Foxford National School – Teacher Marie Murray
  4. What is your favourite thing in your job? Danijel , 13 year olds, Primary School Brusnice, Slovenia – Teacher Jasna Ilic
  5. What are the worst parts of your job? Lucy Venton, 8, Killeshandra N.S. – Teacher Avril Graha
