Drivetime Europe Day 2019

On 9 May 2019, my BFGtoEU decided to celebrate Europe Day with 100 children from Kilmurry NS. We organised a quiz with questions on the European Union and its countries and we finished off with a tasting round. The children were blindfolded and had to taste Parma ham, feta cheese, croissant, soda bread and marmite. They had to guess what it was and where it was from. We had a few surprises and a lot of fun! Drivetime decided to report on one of the very few initiatives across Ireland which focused on celebrating Europe Day. And of course, we had spot prizes as we went along and top prizes for the winners!
